Project Overview
The bridge on Ada has been designed as a landmark structure for the people of Serbia incorporating a needle shaped pylon with a height of 200m. The bridge is a continuous superstructure spanning the river Sava with an overall length of 929m and a deck width of 45m. The bridge passes over the tip of Ada Ciganlija island, holds six traffic lanes with hard shoulders, a double track rail line as well as two pedestrian and bicycle lanes. The new structure provides increased network capacity, for both local and transit traffic and with its 200m tall pylon, the bridge has become a significant landmark for the city of Belgrade and its transportation infrastructure.
Gulf Line Int’l together with manufacturers and sub-contractor completed the design, supply, installation and supervision of all decorative lighting. Below are pictures and a video of the decorative lighting on display on the completed bridge on Ada.
